GOW 3 is just 720p with 60 FPS and in heavy fight drop to 35 FPS.
GOW 3 is has also more depth of field and far More intense than Alan Wake.
Furter more is the game engine the first, so this mean that the game is holding back by the game engine not the hardware.

But this DODO forget that Alan Wake is full with fog and Night gameplay to cover the limitation for the 360.
If the 360 hardware can support Blu-Ray than it was already implemented.
But the 360 CPU is to weak for the processor power hungry Blu-Ray diode and with a GPU with 10 ED is way to low for support true FULL HD 1080p.
They should need stronger GPU and CPU if the 360 gets Blu-Ray.

Graphics, where are the graphics? in night or the fog hold back the visual and graphics, sure Alan Wake will damn good game but don't compare with the Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 because those games are not easy world and holding back the graphics and visual with fog and night gameplay.
